You have got to be kidding me. I was going through some links posted after the Wizard's game and came across this gem (see below) from the New York Times. I am quite interested in seeing some of your responses.
In a nutshell, the relevant part of the story (for my purposes here with this post) confirms that Smith's flagrant foul against Barbosa during the recent Pacers/Knicks contest was downgraded by the league from a flagrant two to a flagrant one. I can live with that (I don't agree but whatever). My problem is the statements made by Woodson after reflecting on the incident. Initially, Woodson criticized Smith labeling his player's conduct "unprofessional." But now, Woodson states he would have done the same thing to Barbosa. Seriously?
