The Indiana Pacers host Game 1 of their first round playoff series against the Orlando Magic on Saturday evening. With the cold, damp weather in Indy today it seems like a perfect night to heat up Bankers Life Fieldhouse with some intense playoff action. The Pacers have several advantages over the Magic, most notably their health and depth.

This Pacers team isn't the same one that lost more than they won to the Magic having elevated their level of play in April. But the playoffs are a different beast, so the Pacers need to hit first and set the tone, making the under-manned Magic realize they have to play at a high level just to keep up. A slow start by the Pacers will just pump life into the Magic and with the shooters they have running around, Indiana does not want them getting comfortable or confident. That's why Game 1 is important.
