The wait is finally over. The 2012 NBA Playoff schedule has been released. The Indiana Pacers will open up Game 1 this Saturday evening at 7 p.m. on ESPN, giving the Pacers a primetime audience in hopes of turning some heads when they take on the Orlando Magic.
From there, local fans won't have to adjust their schedule much from what they've become accustomed to throughout the year, with two more 7:30 starts on Monday and Wednesday for Games 2 & 3, both on NBA TV. Three games are scheduled to air on NBA TV this postseason, and two of which belong to the Pacers.
Indiana will play Game 4 on Saturday May 5 at 2 p.m. back on ESPN and Games 5-7, if they are necessary, will be determined at a later date. The schedule is as follows. All times are Eastern.
Game 1 - Saturday April 28, Orlando at Indiana, 7 p.m., ESPN
Game 2 - Monday April 30, Orlando at Indiana, 7:30 p.m., NBA TV
Game 3 - Wednesday May 2, Indiana at Orlando, 7:30 p.m., NBA TV
Game 4 - Saturday May 5, Indiana at Orlando, 2 p.m., ESPN
Game 5 (if necessary) - Tuesday May 8, Orlando at Indiana, TBD
Game 6 (if necessary) - Friday May 11, Indiana at Orlando, TBD
Game 7 (if necessary) - Sunday May 13, Orlando at Indiana, TBD
