The Pacers initially took on Mike Dunleavy and Troy Murphy's bloated contracts for years with the hope that they would evolve into cornerstone, franchise players. Obviously, they never did. They did, however, get minutes with the Pacers because we really had no other choice. This led to extremely inflated numbers for both men, and they should be happy the Pacers gave them the opportunity to receive another bloated contract somewhere else. Troy Murphy at least seems to have found a niche with the Lakers. He isn't a star, obviously, but he contributes to a winning team nonetheless. The Bucks, on the other hand, are probably kicking themselves for taking on Dunleavy. The dude is at best a backup small forward who should be getting no more than fifteen minutes a night. Instead of being thankful to the Pacers, he seems to take out his inferiority complex on former teammates. What's his deal? Is he pissed that the year after he left, the Pacers began to spend their money wisely and thus became a winning team? Is he upset that he's on yet another team struggling to break .500? Dude seriously needs to chill, enjoy the millions of dollars the Pacers basically handed to him, and enjoy watching the #3 seed PACERS in the playoffs!
