Well, it's been two weeks, so the last rosterbation thread got taken down off of the front page. But let's see if we can cram some rumor links, trade ideas and general tom-foolery into the next six days on this thread. "Experts" say the trade deadline is going to be quiet, but screw them, that doesn't mean we have to be!
The most recent (realistic) targets for the Pacers were/are Chris Kaman and Jamal Crawford. No surprises there. So anyway, here's a three-team trade idea that gets us both guys because I'm too lazy to come up with individual ideas and explain them, I'm going to rush through explaining this one:
IND gets Jamal Crawford, Chris Kaman and Chris Johnson (some guy who plays for Portland, apparently, not the super fast Tennessee Titan with the weird twitches)
Both of these teams will get much better offers for these guys, probably, but I'm living in a dream world where sub-par NBA franchises care more about saving money and collecting borderline-useless future assets than actually acquiring skilled players in trades. This trade basically reflects my thoughts on the matter: That no one outside of the guys listed (and Tyler Hansbrough, but Larry Bird doesn't agree with me) are worth trading for two players who we very well may only have for a month and a half. I'm guessing the market will be cold on both guys league-wide, but there will be offers.
Your ideas? Your rumors? Your general thoughts? Rants? Drunken ramblings? Rec it up. We've got six days.
