Indiana Pacers forward David West made his first trip back to face his former team, the New Orleans Hornets this past Saturday. West played the first eight years of his NBA career with the Hornets so he left behind a lot of good memories when he signed with the Pacers in December.
West didn't necessarily want to leave New Orleans but he knew the situation with Chris Paul was going to create drastic change, so at this point in his career, coming off of a knee injury, he found a more stable situation with the Pacers. No hard feelings and apparently those feelings were mutual.
During the game, the Hornets organization proved to be all class by playing a tribute video for West that shows some of his best moments as a Hornet on and off the court.
