Barbosa is a good addition, but should or could we have done more?

I am a Die Hard Pacer. Ive stayed through the ups and downs. I watch as many games as the next Pacer fanatic and I must say that the Knick debacle disturbed me. I saw that despite having Hill who can get his own shot, the only person who can single handedly break down a defense and penetrate is Lance. Hopefully Barbosa can help, but we could have done more in my opinion. I also feel that David West is not enough to propel us at the 4 spot. He's not athletic enough and is too small for Elite power forwards. Roy also needs help. He's not an every year All Star but he deserves a reliable back up. Im just asking, was Kris Humphries to much to ask. Or J Crawford or Nick Young or Anthony Morrow, or antwon Jamison. Lets face it, we don't have a reliable post player or athletic big nor do we have a break u don't when then play goes wrong and the shot clock is ticking down guard. Shumpert, fields and Chandler basically shut down our team. Collison struggled with the press by NY and Nobody could penetrate or establish a post presence. We rely on defense and hitting 3s unless Hibbert Shows up which is about once every 5 games. We are not to far away but i feel we need consistency at one of those areas to get past the first round. Just sharing my thoughts, please share yours.
