The Indiana Pacers are in Madison Square Garden on Friday night to take on the New York Knicks who off to a new start following the resignation of coach Mike D'Antoni earlier in the week. Former Broad Ripple Rocket, Mike Woodson is now calling the shots for the Knicks who always present plenty of matchup issues.
Speaking of new, the Pacers won't have their newly acquired guard Leandro Barbosa on hand tonight so they will simply try to repeat the level of play they delivered in the past two games at home. The two teams will play again in Indy on Saturday which should make for a fun weekend of games against the Knicks. The fans were highly engaged for the two mid-week games and today the Pacers announced that the game against the Knicks is a sellout so the place should be rocking this weekend. A win tonight will only amp up that environment.
Here is the Pacers.com preview. For a New York perspective, check out Posting and Toasting. Also, after the game check out Pacers Overtime on WIBC 93.1FM with Eddie White. Need to have an Indy Cornrows mention on the show!
