Here we go people. According to a pair of tweets from respected NBA writers, the Indiana Pacers are making a trade for Toronto Raptors speedy point guard Leandro Barbosa. Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Barbosa is in the last year of his contract so the Pacers will have to pay whatever remains of his $7.6 million salary this year with the excess cap space they have on hand. Barbosa will also fill one of the team's empty roster spots. Barbosa is currently averaging 12.2 points per game in about 22 minutes off of the bench for the Raptors.
So is this just the start of the day with more moves in store for the Pacers? Will Darren Collison be part of another deal? Stay tuned and let me know what you think of acquiring Barbosa.
