Danny Granger Excited To See Former Teammate Brandon Jacobs Play In Super Bowl XLVI

Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger is pumped to go to the Super Bowl on Sunday to watch one of his former basketball teammates, Brandon Jacobs play for the New York Giants.

Jacobs has been a beast for the Giants, toting the pig at 6'4", 260 pounds and making a career of gaining tough yards in the NFL. Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw combine to give the Giants a running attack that could be the difference in beating the favored New England Patriots.

Can you imagine Jacobs on the basketball court?

"The size he is right now, he was the same size in high school, I promise you," Granger said. "We played AAU together and he was one of them guys who was a man-child and when we played basketball he just bullied everybody on court."

While Granger had his eyes on a future in the NBA, Jacobs just loved to hoop and his AAU teammates were happy to have the big fella running beside them because he took care of the dirty work, allowing the scorers like Granger to do their thing.

"We always knew football was his best sport but he love basketball so he played," Granger said. "It was a lot of fun, I'll tell you that much, he was a lot of fun to play with. He was like the enforcer, he just was tough on the court."
