Pacers shooting SLUMP

Man the pacera sure have looked good in the.first 1/3 of the season. But of latley tgey seem to be n a big shhoting slump and def strugle. You sure can tell tonight the BIG Hib is btherd because he is gettn out played by Memhis big man number 33. Hes lettn it get.to him again. I sure hope he doesnt get back in his.old way. What do you guys think? It just seems when they get the.ball under the basket they freeze and cant make it more then half the time.

Well

We really only had a few games where we shot over 45%. We are well into the season and agree that their energy level is no where near what it should be. I guess many teams are like that. But I never in a hundred years thought this team would be this low on stamina or game shape. It seems Larry and a lot of cornrowers are content with just making the playoffs which NOW I think we will be somewhere around 6 or 7. I am a little more aggressive and want to see Chicago/Philly/Miami like results to win now…build a team that can contend on a nightly basis or at least win 5-6 in a row to 1 defeat..start the process all over again. I guess I have fallen into the “Maybe Next couple of years, we’ll be contenders for real”…love the smash mouth ball, but still sticking to my guns from game 1 that we need a back up forward like a Patrick Patterson type of player who can play mainly the 3 and a little back up to West. Roy, I LOVE the guy, but he just seems intimidated at times like tonight. Good to see Foster back in, but he may be out another 10 games with back spasms. Not being a Negative Nanny, but I feel Bird needs to grow a pair, roll the dice a make a move to land another good player or we’ll be in the bottom feeders of the east for a few yrs still.

What do I think?

I think the IndyCornrows community needs to strive for at least somewhat grammatically correct FanPosts that aren’t full of text speak. Or whatever that is.

It wouldn't matter...

If you were a college english professor, they’d find something wrong with your “contribution”. This is a friendly “free to write” group, as long as you agree with “some of them”. But I digress! About last night’s game, the bench shot 8 of 21 from the field, had 4 turnovers and 4 assists. They did do better at the free throw line than our starters, tho, hitting 12 of 14. But “I” believe we still need help there, and hopefully, Larry will be on the phone trying to get us that shooting, scoring player we need to help out when our starters are taken out of the game. Stephenson surely hasnt’ made a believer out of anyone that “HE IS THE GUY”, right? I havent’ seen him do anything yet, to show that he’s capable of much of anything. AND BEFORE YOU ALL SAY IT, yes, this was just one more game, but two losses in a row. 3 out of 4. We need to put a stop to it before it grows much longer. How? I wish I knew. Better minds are out there than mine. I just like to write here, and dare I say it, TRY TO VOICE MY OPINION AND CONCERNS. I love the Pacers, been watching them since the ABA days of Freddy Lewis, Bob Netolicky, Billy Keller, Roger Brown, and the rest. I just want them to be exciting to watch, which this team is. But, when red flags turn up, hopefully, management notices and will not let it go too far, before making changes or upgrades.

Not lookn good with the heat next n are 1st 3 n a row. They need to get there sh%t together!!!! Imo if this team strts loosn, it might hurt them meantal. But I hope im wrong.

I never said any thing about one game. I usually don’t try n conflict with people on the Internet, lol . I just sit back n read. I do say tho they might need to do something, bc it could get ugly before it gets better. I think mojo warning off. Maybe coach will start havn practices more often,instead of watching video. Just my opinion.
