After a sluggish start defensively that allowed the Phoenix Suns to jump out to a 12-7 lead, the Indiana Pacers turned the game in their favor with a 15-2 run to take a lead they wouldn't relinquish. The Pacers went up double figures, but the Suns bench drew them within five before Indiana pushed forward to take the 58-44 halftime lead. The Pacers shot 56.1% on 7-10 three point shooting.
George Hill led Indiana with 15 points making all six of his shots from the field. Tyler Hansbrough was 5-6 for 12 points. Paul George reached double figures with 11. Lance Stephenson had eight, but also grabbed four rebounds and dished out three assists.
