The Philadelphia 76ers scored six points in the final 3.8 seconds of the second quarter to take a halftime lead against the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers played well in the first quarter, scoring 25, but struggled throughout the second to find points, shooting 37% in the half. Paul George led the Pacers with 11 and Roy Hibbert had 10 points and nine rebounds, with all 10 points coming in the first quarter.
The Pacers played solid defensively, but the collapse at the half, starting with George's third foul on a failed steal attempt, leading to free throws. A Pacers turnover gave Evan Turner an easy layup and a long pass went untouched, giving Philly the ball under their basket as Spencer Hawes dropped the jumper at the buzzer. The six point swing could prove detrimental for a Pacers team that has played games close all year.
