US PRESSWIRE
Indiana needed big efforts from George Hill and David West to down the Kings.
The Indiana Pacers were led by George Hill and David West in a nice win over the Sacramento Kings, improving Indiana's record to 8-8, and 5-2 in their last seven. Indiana led the way through most of the second half, but the Kings continued to push, responding to every big shot the Pacers put up throughout the fourth. In the end, the tandem of West and Hill were too much for the Kings.
West had a season high 31 points to pair with 11 rebounds while Hill scored 25, also having eight assists and six rebounds. The Pacers continued their improved assist to FG ratio, 27 assists on 37 shots. Turnovers were plentiful in the first half, but the team committed just one throughout the second half. Sam Young had 12 points off the bench, DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with a 19/16 double double.
