Pacers Trail Spurs 47-38 at Halftime

The Indiana Pacers made it a game. The San Antonio Spurs were holding the Pacers to 22% shooting, and were able to push their second quarter lead to 20 points with 3:11 left in the half. For the first time all night, the Pacers not only found an offensive rhythm, but were able to land a few stops, closing the half on an 11-0 run to cut the game to single digits.

George Hill playing in San Antonio was poised to make an impact, and was able to lead the Pacers with 12 points and five assists. David West struggled in the first quarter, but upon his return became a catalyst to the Indiana comeback, scoring 10 in the period. Sam Young started in place of Gerald Green, who continues to play better with the bench, scoring seven. The Spurs built their lead on smooth offensive play, with Stephen Jackson leading the way with nine points.
