The Indiana Pacers have led just twice this season at halftime, so it's no surprise they'd trail heading into the half against the New Orleans Hornets, who despite being without first overall pick Anthony Davis, came out with better energy and fire. The Hornets jumped out to a quick start that became a double digit lead late in the first quarter on a lack of Pacers defense and timely buckets.
The Pacers showed some life with Tyler Hansbrough, Lance Stephenson, and a Roy Hibbert block party in the second quarter, but a brief lead wasn't meant to last, and the Pacers trail 47-43 at halftime. Hibbert led the way for the Pacers with eight points and five blocks as Indiana continues to try and find any kind of offensive flow.
