Pacers Trailing Bulls 52-43 at Half in Preseason Closer

The Indiana Pacers play the road team in South Bend against the Chicago Bulls in the preseason closer. The Bulls jumped out to a double figure lead, using offensive rebounding and solid defense to keep the Pacers playing catch up. Indiana got 10 points from Ian Mahinmi, who looked quick and active in his minutes. The bigs have been a key advantage for the Pacers, with Roy Hibbert also shrugging off defenders for big baskets.

The Pacers have struggled defensively in the first half, mostly showing themselves to be poor matchups, but got a little cohesion on offense, managing to break the double figure barrier late in the second quarter, and head into the half down 9 following some nice plays from Paul George and Danny Granger.
