Danny Granger's first action this preseason highlighted a strong first half showing from the Indiana Pacers against the Cleveland Cavaliers as they lead 51-45. Granger was very productive in his 12 minutes of action, scoring a team high 9 points on 3-7 shooting. David West also pitched in with 9 points and 4 boards as D.J. Augustin and Paul George added six for the starting lineup.
The Pacers second unit got run as well, as quality play continues from Gerald Green and Ian Mahinmi. The Pacers began to pull away late in the second quarter, but the team continued to struggle with turnovers, allowing the Cavaliers to pull within 6 at the half. The Pacers committed 9 turnovers in the first half, putting them on pace to reach their preseason average of 18. Alonzo Gee leads the way for the Cavaliers with 13 with NBA Rookie of the Year Kyrie Irving adding in 6 of his own.
