Halfway through the Magic/Pacers preseason game in Florida, Orlando controlled most of the first half and head into the locker room up 49-41. Orlando entered the game winless in preseason, but poor Pacers defense gave the Magic plenty of opportunities to jump out despite a 10 point quarter from Pacers big man Roy Hibbert.
The Pacers stormed out in the second quarter behind Gerald Green (9 points) and Tyler Hansbrough (10 points) to take a six point lead before the Magic flipped the script, led by Glen Davis (14 points), Jameer Nelson (12), and J.J. Redick (10). Hedo Turkoglu has 5 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.
For the Pacers, Paul George whiffed on a showboat dunk to define a 1-9 shooting first half, for two points and three turnovers. Lance Stephenson received ample time as the team's point guard, leading to three assists and three turnovers. The Pacers lived at the line in their game against Atlanta, but have only reached the charity stripe three times in tonight's contest. Frank Vogel played a nine-man rotation in the first half, opting action for Stephenson and Sam Young while omitting both Orlando Johnson and Ben Hansbrough.
