Dwyane Wade May Sit Out Game Against Pacers
Miami Heat superguard Dwyane Wade is dealing with a lingering foot injury and did not participate in the team's shootaround today in advance of their game against the Indiana Pacers tonight.
Wade will be a game-time decision but those on the scene at American Airlines Arena have been tweeting that all indications point to Wade sitting out the game tonight.
LeBron James says it's "looking like" Dwyane Wade won't go tonight.
Dwyane Wade did not take part in shootaround because of lingering foot contusion. Will be gametime decision vs. Pacers tonight.
A gametime decision is just that. But Wade did not sound optimistic and LeBron does not expect him to play.
Won't find any complaints from me if Wade doesn't play. Teams are going to run into this situation all season where the rate of games forces a player to take off a game or two to tend to a lingering injury. If the Heat feel safe sitting Wade against the Pacers, fine. If you have any concerns about the value of the Pacers beating the Heat without Wade, shake yourself.
Every W is vital this year no matter when, where or how it is obtained and all analysis of said W's is purely for entertainment purposes. Wade or no Wade, the Pacers still have to play quite well to beat Miami and LeBron James.
Windhorst had some other good news for the Pacers, tweeting that Tyler Hansbrough expects to play.

Thats a good thing . . .
Since we Traded Bradon Rush we have no one on our roster that can stop him . . . .
(Sarcasm)

It's true.
No one on our roster can guard Brandon Rush. Stupid move by the Pacers front office dishing him to GS.
Just read on ESPN that Zach Randolph is out for 8 weeks
due to a slight tear to his knee. Pacers play them next month in Memphis so every little bit can help. Also without D. Wade playing tonight I’m hoping we can pull out a win.
take advantage of these opportunities
Unfortunate for Miami and Memphis but we need to take full advantage of the opportunities to beat these teams when they are not at “full” strength.

A good win if pacers can pull it off
But Wade not being out there leaves us not really knowing how good we can match up with the heat defensely

I agree
I’ve watched norris Cole and he is a pretty good looking rookie trying to make his mark in the league. The Pacers just need to play defense like we know they can.
This game becomes more important.
It’ll be tough to argue that we’ve taken the next step if we drop this one to a Wade-less Heat team.
Someone's going to have to check Norris Cole
Kid’s legit.
