A bit of good luck after that Orlando meltdown
With D. Rose already playing through an injured toe, this should serve as another bad blow to the Bulls. Hope we can take advantage.
"Shaler Halimon isn’t walking through the door. Kornel David isn’t walking through the door. Fabricio Oberto isn‘t walking through the door.
No, the Bulls and their gaudy 16-3 record are basically going to have to go with what they have, and that includes without Luol Deng for at least a few more games.
Deng and team officials confirmed Tuesday that Deng has a torn ligament in his left wrist suffered late in Saturday’s game against the Bobcats. So perhaps Tyrus Thomas did have his revenge.
In any case, it’s not season ending—or long delaying—at least yet, as Deng told reporters at the Berto Center Tuesday he will attempt to play through the injury after a bit of time for healing."

That’s actually disappointing. I want to beat them at their best, a victory will feel more shallow now. I always find taking on one of these teams that have a big injury, early on in that player’s absence, a bit nerve-racking. Often see those teams come out quite motivated.

Does Not Matter
With or without Deng and/or Rose, it really doesn’t matter.
The glaring problem of the Pacers is: Inconsistency.
This team has to find a way to keep the OFFENSE going!
We need a proven, affordable, offense-minded clutch veteran
who can bail us out when the going goes tough.
We just missed on Chauncey Billups. Too bad.
I've Been saying that
The whole early season and was brow beat to death…NOW more and more people are seeing what I was seeing after 5 games. Even w/o Deng…The Bulls will beat us because of they’re personel and savvy players. Glad I’m not watching it. I know someone will blow me up again simply for echoing my feelings of how things look. If you did not watch the game, well you just missed Indiana’s best game of the season

You are an emotional and negative boob.
Your opinions of this team are based on the results of the past few seasons, and have a tendency to swing from game to game. In the midst of the best Pacers season in eight years, all you can see is the number of ways we can fail, the number of teams that are better than us, and speculate gleefully on how long it will be until the roof caves in. Are you some relation to Bob Kravitz?

There are moves that we didn't make this summer...
…that I’m more upset about.
I’d love to have a vet gaurd to pour in some points when things get sticky…but those ain’t cheap. Plus I think that would hinder PG some not to mention, I think Hill is doing pretty well in most games of giving us a handful of needed points/shots.
The most glaring need in my mind is CLEARLY exposed when Amundson is on the floor. We need another big man that can play center and maybe some PF. If Jeff was healthy, that’s mostly a moot point. I’m not too upset with management taking that risk, but I’m feeling fairly justified in my sentiment that Dalembert would have been worth a LOOOONG look.
