PrintA professional team scores 8 points in a twelve minute quarter? How pathetic can that be? Where's the coach that's suppose to be coaching? Why not pull the players that arent' sharing the ball , not throwing assists (wow, our main point guard had 3 assists) and just not hitting, and let someone else at least try. We've gotta get someone in here who can assist and who can score. I dont' care if he's a center, forward, or guard, just anyone who can hit a shot once in awhile. We are finally going to be playing some pretty good teams coming up soon, and we are going to be in big trouble. So far we skating by, because we've played some lousy teams and got by with it, but that's all about to change, and i'm afraid that with this team, we're gonna face some major blow-outs. Coach has got to show some 'anger' on the sidelines, and not be afraid to get onto some of these selfish, lazy players who dont' want to play. And please, i'm not saying they are all like that, but there are a couple starters who come to mind, that should be benched, and allow some of our bench players to start. Better get ahold of the situation NOW, before it bites us in our butts.

I don't think this is what was going on, but it almost looked like....
Roy Hibbert was being froze out and put on the bench, so they have an excuse not to extend him with big bucks before the Jan 25th deadline. I KNOW THIS IS RIDICULOUS, BUT BS LIKE LAST NITE IS NO MORE RIDICULOUS! :)

Totally right. It’s only one loss. But if things aren’t taken care of, and quickly, this 3 game road trip might make the Pacers 9-6 by the time it ends. Coach Vogel needs to start getting on to the players and quit being their buddies. Maybe he already does, who knows. But if something isn’t done, I see a tiny little ball of snow, getting bigger and bigger with each “it’s just one little loss”.

I'm not happy about some of the things in that game.
But, I actually thought we passed pretty well (except when Sacto got close at the end, then we just looked so shocked we were playing like morons).
Our shooting was terrible and our defense might have actually been too good. In as much that we crowded the ball, forced bad shots, but had no one boxing out to get boards (plus 2 or our 3 best big men have some of the worst hands in the league).
But, I’m not going to freak out. I’m certainly not going to bench Collison, Granger, and PG (not sure if he was one of the ones you had in mind) for not passing. We then turn to Lance Stephenson, D.Jones, and Hansbrough….who are all MUCH more willing passers right?

Its just one game..even if they didn’t win a game this road trip being 9-6, I’d still take that. Why? Its better than last season. This team is constantly improving thought which is what you want to see from a team season to season more Ws. I don’t think they will lose against Golden State and I think they will be competitive against LA. Bottom line, it was a lose, one they let slip away but it was just one game. They know the screwed that one up from Coach Vogel to each player that played. They will comeback with a vengeance against Golden State there is no doubt in my mind. The thing that annoys me are some fans flippin out each lose crying and screaming for changes. Its the NBA you dont win 90% of your games

Yeah we are going to bench our starters for bench players and then we will be so much better . . . . Bad Decisions like that is why you live in an RV and I live in a house.
Or better yet why don’t we just start Lance Stephenson, throw the season, and go for the #1 pick.

I wasn’t saying to ‘start’ with the bench. I was saying if the starters aren’t getting the job done, then bring in someone from off the bench and let the COACH, talk to the starter, and set him straight on what he is doing or not doing. I thought this place was a place to voice your opinion about how “you saw the game”? Maybe i’m wrong, if Dale and the other guy will tell me what to say, maybe I’d have a better idea of what to POST. And NO, I dont’ live in an RV, and I find that insulting to insinuate that someone who does, is incapable of creating a POST. Better get your nose out of the air, or you might drown!

Thats weird that you say that because I am a Cage Fighter and actually fought a preliminary UFC fight with Nate Davis and lost. . . no big deal.
I stand by my opinons in a jovial manner. Most of the time me and Luke are going at it but we have a mutual respect for each other I think . . . But if I strongly believe something, like Lance Suck, then I will totally stand by and defend that statement until the BITTER END.

Nate Davis..OUCH! Thats awesome. My son who is 26 now was getting into cage fighting until last summer he broke his collar bone diving for a softball. BOOM!!! End of his fighting career. He was a kickboxer and Mouy Tai…I took up Ninjuitsu a few yrs back and typical street fighting 101 from my days at Tech HS though you cage fighters are bad-ass.

Good teams go 0-3 in three game road trips all the time
Not giving them an excuse, and yes, they should have won (and maybe would have if Foster had been healthy…Cousins wouldn’t have beasted us on the o-boards so badly anyway), but road games are hard. It’s why I’m not so much concerned with IU’s loss to Nebraska as I was with their home loss to Minnesota. That one still makes no sense. But any team can lose on the road. OKC lost @ Washington, and the Wizards are arguably the least-disciplined, least mature team in the league. Given some of the obvious advantages the Kings came into the game with (Cousins vs. guys like Paul George and Danny Granger in the post…blech), this isn’t so surprising. There was some bad coaching there in the end. Vogel looked like he’d never seen a zone before. George was timid…again. Granger was playing out of position. But these types of losses are going to happen with young teams. It’s why we’re not a title contender, and should be happy with a 4-6 seed.
