OK Cornrowers. Its been ten games. Many hard to watch EVEN the ones they won. We only looked good in really 3 games, that being our 1st against the Pistons whom also handed us our 1st loss. The Celtics and The Hawks.

Many of us KNOW there is something missing than what we really anticipated. Is it still lockout fever, summer legs or just really bad-bad basketball from a team that can't handle the pressure and hype that has been dumped on them????

Granger finally kicked it into gear last night while the others (except Roy) played subpar. I mean West should be ready to start to contribute already....more than avg 12pts a game by now it seems. I expected him to be avg close to 16pts and 50% shooting along w/ 8 boards. Paul is up and down which is what I kind of expected until he really turns all-star....ya know, the calm before the storm scenario. Darren also seems sketchy at times. Roy is producing MORE than what I and probably many here thought as well.

And the bench? What Bench? Really, all we have is George Hill who is coming around I hope so it seemed until he hurt his back and Tyler who plays relentless and scores the Ugly shots. Foster is good for 10 mins. Thats it, no more, no less. D.Jones and Lance....well you know that issue. AJ, Lou and JP havent played enough to see how deep we are but I seen enough to know we NEED another player that can contribute off the bench. I read so much to get Nick Young or Courney Lee but we'd be giving up valuble assets.

Maybe I EXPECTED way-way-way too much from my (our Pacers) and bought into the hype. But really I thin we were all expecting this team to take off and leave the ground smokin. We were hoping DC would be avg 12 and 8assists, Paul to be avg near 13 along with a couple steals/blocks, West to be dominating by NOW and to have Hill around 12pts as well.

I don't see it yet....AND I HOPE, I seriously HOPE they turn the page after the past ten games to a team that plays to the expectations that it should. Much like against the Hawks which was the way WE ALL expected from the beginning. Who knows, maybe they will turn it up all together after 20 games and hope by then we are still above .500 to push the final 46 games to a more elite style.
