Herb Simon is apparently thinking of having Reggie Miller be the next GM of the Pacers, after Bird retires after the lockout, with Donnie Walsh mentoring him. I think this could be either be a really good thing, or a really bad thing, with no in between. Reggie has done well being a TV broadcaster, which could possibly translate to being a good GM, but on the chance he isnt, it could really ruin his public reputation in the eyes of Pacer fans, as people tend to have short memories. Personally though, I'm a fan of and think it could work out well, and for many years as Reggie is young, and this will likely be his only opportunity to be a GM of a team in the NBA. What do you all think?
