The Indiana Pacers are expected to name Frank Vogel as head coach today at a press conference at 11:00 am.  It has been a long ride and a bit peculiar, at that.  Coach Frank Vogel gained many supporters with his positive attitude and spirit, while also leading his team to the playoffs.  After the season, most hoped the "interim" tag would be removed immediately.  However, Larry Bird did his due dilligence and looked around for a bit.  That time he was looking extended longer than most of us thought it would, but it is finally coming to a conclusion today!

I am very excited to see what Coach Vogel can do with this team with a full off-season....well, part of an off-season?  I guess it all depends on the labor talks...Anyways, with a staff including Brian Shaw, I think this young core group is in great hands.  After the jump, check out the links of the day, including info on the 11:00am press conference.
