Around SBN: Despite Relocation Drama, Coyotes Overcome Adversity

So I Just saw Danny Granger and Kris Humphies last night.

I'm going to make this short  because there's not much to really talk about here.

I'm a busser at a restaurant in Las Vegas and Kris had his bachelor party in my section last night. In his entourage there was Lamar Odom, Jordan Farmar, Jason Kopono and ours truly Danny Granger, plus others. They sat right in front of each other (Kris and Danny) and I was kinda hoping Danny  would put in the good word for Kris to come play in Indy. Probably wishful thinking but I think Kris would help out a lot. It seems TH and KH are polar opposites in there games but they would complement each other well though. All of them at the table were kinda snooty though but there was a lot of cameras all over the place. Last week we had Lebron , Wade, Carmelo and there pal Wide World of West guy. All were really cool, respectful and funny.

I vote yes if he's reasonably priced

Something tells me he won’t be. Also wide world of wes guy is hella shady and super rich basically just because he knows people. How much of the dream is that guy living?

Feel the same

I’d be OK with Humphries at say…5 mil, but he’ll probably get way more and that’s just too much for a guy that can’t really do much of anything for himself on offense.

Thinking about it, 5's too low

That’s not even a full MLE, but still, he’s going to be overpaid and hopefully not by us.

I’ve been watching some Nene and I didn’t really know he could move the way he can. he could damn near run the point how he can run the floor. That’s what we need is a big bulky guy who can run.

Pulling for Nene

I wanted to see him here before the season was ending. A buddy of mine in the Denver media said he isnt returning to the Nuggets and will sign for someone up and coming like the Pacers. That, my man, would be so cool. He’s only 28, still has a ton of playing in him. Imagine some trying to drive the paint to meet Nene/Hibbert or Nene/Tyler, Hibbert/McRoberts, Nene/McRoberts…Total insane PHYSICAL balling.

Tell ya what.

I’ll join this little bandwagon, especially if it helps us avoid Carl Landry and David West.

Thug Life. It's a Pacers thing, you wouldn't get it.

Yea this guys is a banger who can run. He also shot 61.5% last year. 61.5%! That’s insane!

by B-Huse on Jul 25, 2011 3:50 AM EDT up reply actions

That's all from

Clean up shots though, hustle plays. He really has no offensesive game and no jump shot either. His shooting % is higher than his free throw %??? And would be out of position at pf. Collison wouldn’t be able to run the pick n roll with him at pf.

Clean up shots or not 61.5% is impressive.

Nene said he wants to play more pf wherever he goes. He feels thats his natural position.

Doubt he would be in a good price range............

besides that thought, that table of players, makes me like Granger a little less. Birds of a feathr flock together and that is bad company, leadership and motivation wise.

I'm impressed.

I don’t think I could have identified Kapono and Farmar just by looking at them.

Me either

But I think its one of those things when your up close and personal with them. You get a better idea of who they are.

Farmar's

easy to identify, he’s the one with huge ears.

I believe Kris H is a good alternative to David West and Nene. Especially if they will not come here. As far as his offense. I wouldn’t worry too much about that. Blake Griffin isn’t a complete player on offense yet either and he averaged over 20 pts. Not that Kris is on the same league as Griffin but they are similar. Both are athletic and can rebound. Only difference is Blake has far more potential and he’s bit younger.

This is great, thanks for sharing

leaving aside the critical basketball issues, KH to the Pacers could be great PR. Kim and Kris need a fresh angle for their reality show. Why not have Kim try to figure out living in the midwest?

Ok so....

I just got off work and my last table in the lounge was steve lavin and earl watson and friends. Lots of ballers in vegas this month. Talked to earl for a bit and he enjoyed his time in indy. Kind of cool.

I seem to remember a show trying that called Kendra.....

and it didnt work out to good for my other team th ’09 Colts. I dont want anyone that has an ex whore, high maintenance chick, dominating his life instead of his job. Hello Odom, Hump, and Hank " I cant catch a onside kick, even though it hit me in the hands and I am a WR" Baskett “case”. No Drama needed, keep that crap in LA.
