Boylen
I didn’t know Boylen had accepted the offer. I guess I’m behind in my Pacers’ news. I like the coaching staff and think they’ll have clearly defined roles: Shaw will be the players’ voice, lockerroom facilitator, and I’m sure will offer some insight of how to create ball movement in the offense given his experience with the triangle. Boylen will probably help with the big men and have some say about defensive philosophy. Vogel will continue to be a confident motivator while hopefully continuing to refine his Xs and Os (he did do some great things in this regard last season, I’m excited to see what he can do with more experience). Not sure what Dan Burke’s role has been on the past, but the franchise seems to respect him, so I wish him the best of luck.
It’s a shame we aren’t talking about Paul George, Lance, and maybe Hansbrough ripping up summer league right now.
+1
I enjoyed very much watching summer league last year. We pretty much had the best draft last year with lance, PG and Magnum all killing it. I watched the pacers/celtic game last year and for an exhibition game it was great. I think the pacers were down by 20 something points in the second half and the pacers came all the way back. And PG put the game away with some “clutch” fee throws. Lance was pretty much named"MVP"of the summer league and magnum got a lot of love too. If its still possible to get him back we should. And Tyler playing in summer league isn’t fair. He’d probably injure some people and himself.
LET THE HATERS HATE.
