Once again, the Pacers organization is taking its sweet old time, in announcing that Vogel will be the head coach. Why?  I think everybody who even knows about Vogel expects that he's gonna be named the coach. If not, why would they order him to get rid of some of his assistants?  Why not come forth, name him coach, and then lets start talking about the Draft!  In being this slow with naming the coach, it brings back horrible memories of what happened at mid season--waiting too long to pull the switch on the trade. I'm so afraid that Bird and the organization will once again talk, talk talk, but not be active until too many good free agents will be gone and once again, we'll end up over paying some who just aren't worth the money, just to get them here. BE ACTIVE NOW!! Be the first to pull the trigger as soon as things can happen. I hope that's their plan. I'm just scared it isnt', especially since it's taking this long to name the coach. I'm really excited and ready to get this thing moving forward. How bout you guys?
