The INDIANA Pacers
A lot of to-do has been made about George Hill coming home to Indiana. Indiana High School basketball is a unique institution in this country and continually produces top level talent year after year. It got me thinking... what would a Pacers roster of All Indiana players look like?
PG: Mike Conley, George Hill
SG: Eric Gordon
SF: Gordon Hayward
PF: Zach Randolf, Josh McRoberts
C: Greg Oden
Obviously, Hill and McBob's are already in the fold. Oden is a FA I believe.
I think the Clips could be convinced to part with Eric Gordon if the price was right. Danny Granger?
Hayward would likely come cheaper. Future picks and perhaps Brandon Rush.
Getting Memphis to give up Randolf and Conley would take some convincing, but this is just for fun so let's assume some combination of picks and players gets the job done.
That's the core of a solid playoff team and I bet it would but some butts in seats at Conseco. Never going to happen, but fun to think about anyway.

You forgot quite a few
Brad Miller, Rodney Carney, Luke Harangody, Jared Jeffries, Courtney Lee, Jeff Teague (and Marquis in a year). Think that’s it for current guys.
KEEP COACH FRANK
Ooh, does East Chicago really count?

And they won a state title
But people up there sure don’t act like Hoosiers. Really anyone from the Chicago-land area who I know pretends they aren’t part of Indiana at all and instead opts to call themselves “the area” and root for the Bears and Bulls (and Cubs, but that’s a whole different problem all together).

Yes the region.
I was born in Crown Point so I should know…we don’t consider ourselves “Hoosiers”…J/k. I was born up there, but I’m about as Hoosier as it gets. Grandad built most of (and ran) the Bloomington airport. My other grandfather graduated from IU med and my great uncle Mike was the assistant AD at IU for years (was recently on a billboard with his shirt off…and he was like 70…yuk). I swam in quarries like cutters (hence the name), worked at IU, my dad was a walk on at IU for football. Both parents graduated from Bloomington South HS (and myself). I’m from the “region” AND am a Hoosier…but, I guess I’m not really FROM the region.

yeah, unfortunately he is the only true center from Indiana we have in the league at the moment. Perhaps we keep Roy Hibbert in this scenario and Oden can back him up.
