OK, Again. Assume we stand pat during the drafts and get lucky (which is possible after looking at several draft boards) we draft Marqueif Morris 6-10, 250lb to play 4 & 5 and maybe buy a late 1st if possible. After my last disasterous post I read several interesting comments about building with what we have and add a stud here and there for a 3-5 yr contention team...even though I would consider something in less time. This post will be simple and earn me some positive takes from you.
Besides drinking the Rodney Stuckey kool-aid, I am also VERY hip to stealing Jeff Green from Boston. A 6-9, 235lb combo forward who would be a SOLID back up to Granger and a back up PF at certain times within a game.
ALSO, Can we in anyway get Magnum Rolle from Atlanta as they merely brought him in for the playoffs and didnt see one second. This guy was HIGH on my list last season and was torn when the Pacers kept Soloman Jones or Lance over him. Anyway if this could happen we would be looking at:
PG Collinson, Price & perhaps a 2nd round or late 1st round pick (Jimmer??!!)
SG George, Jones
SF Granger, Green, Posey
PF Tyler, Rolle, Morris and at C Big Roy with a solid vet back up (Wilcox or Foster)
Minute guys would obviously be George, Granger & Green for offensive production (30+ mins).
Happy Memorial/Raceday Guys!
