Well, for several days now all I have read is "Lets Blow Up This Team", lets trade Granger for pix, Lets trade for Mayo, oh, Rudy Gay would be the NEW centerpiece here in Naptown! (With his heft-a$$ contract..OR, lets send the kitchen sink for Iggy AND his fat contract. How about a couple tweeks and nothing else. SURE, this team Barely made the playoffs because Charlotte tossed in the towel at the deadline trading Wallace, and lest not forget the ole Bogurt's injury cost the Bucks the 8th spot. Well, our Pacers made it, did a damn good job of fighting the Bulls. Really, we could have made more of a series IF-IF we had another scorer like, lets say Rodney Stuckey (6-5, 210lb, combo guard with toughness) and relentlessly crashing the boards because NONE of our bigs were successful at that...So, with knowing that perhaps the Pacers' bigs, Tyler, Hibbert and whoever we can grab in the draft, FA or a small trade will result into a little more physical team with some bite. I Know we can get Anthony Randolf for nearly nothing, maybe Rush and Price for Randolf and maybe get Utah involved to get Derrick Favors, who is ready to boom! I really don't see McBob being resigned, Foster? Done. S. Jones, Really??!! If that Kenneth Faried is available at 15 then he would be a Great Rebounder/Defender or Trey Thompkins. And also Kawhi Leonard somehow would be a great back up at the 2/3. But its more and more looking like signing Chris Wilcox to a 2 yr, or spending a little bit more for Samuel Dalembert to back up Roy. Potential line ups could be:
PG-Darren, Sg/SF, Paul, SF, Granger, PF Randolf, C Hibbert..back ups would be Stuckey (capable of becoming a potent 6th man avg 15pts per game playing the point and the 2), D. Jones, Faried or Leonard if available, Tyler, Wilcox or Dalembert, Favors and of course Lance as a back up when needed for DC and Stuckey. We still have "the core group" with a Stuckey and a couple of relentless rebounders/defenders (Randolf & Favors perhaps) and a descent back up center like Wilcox or Dalembert.
