IC Cold Links: Pacers Snap Skid Against The Hawks, Slick Makes His Return

The Indiana Pacers snap their long-standing losing skid against the Atlanta Hawks last night at Conseco Fieldhouse.  It would be great to continue this strong play and roll into the playoffs with some confidence.  Jeff Teague, former Pike High School standout, did everything he could towards the end of the game, but Danny Granger, Roy Hibbert and Darren Collison pushed through and came out with a big win.  Meaningless in standings and seeding, but this game was a great confidence builder for these young Pacers.

Bob "Slick" Leonard made his return last night...Welcome back "Slick"!  Glad to see him back and healthy.  The Pacers put on a solid show for his return and hope to continue to show Slick their improvement.  In addition to showing their improvement overall, Granger is looking to show his adjustments in shot selection.  Mike Wells dives deep into this, but his shot selection and focus on driving to the bucket have improved dramatically.  Again, with this Pacers team, all could change overnight, but it's nice to see the consistent play as of late.
