Not everyone in Indianapolis will be rooting for the Butler Bulldogs tonight when they chase an NCAA championship against the Connecticut Huskies. Former UConn point guard, A.J. Price will have his Huskies gear on pulling for Kemba Walker to lead UConn to another title. Price expressed a healthy respect for Butler, though and expects the game to go down to the wire.
A game going down to the wire? Yeah, I like Butler in that scenario.
Price is always willing to speak to the media but not just to hear himself talk. He can get in an out of an interview efficiently by cutting to the chase. It appears that was the case last night following the Indiana Pacers loss to the New Orleans Hornets.
"Regardless of what we say in terms of it being a playoff mentality, we didn't come with that type of mentality," Pacers point guard A.J. Price said. "We stunk defensively, which is a step back from how we played the other day against Milwaukee."
Yep, that about covers it. After the jump, a few more links of interest from the loss last night.
