That last play after the timeout was totally out to please Granger who was obviously upset after he didn't get the ball in the play before (which at that time he actually deserved it - He was 4-4 on previous offensive serious). So Collison kept it when the play should have been directed (by coach) to ensure the hot man had it. It didn't happen which will sometime be the case. Granger voiced his displeasure during the timeout and the next thing you know he's getting it when the whole world is prepared on the last offensive attempt to win the game. I like Vogel but he's catered to Granger far too long. Granger's offense is consistent (which is why in the past I've said he would be our shooter - and Rush and Dunlevy can be expendable), but I cannot stand his lack of effort on defense. if he actally played D, we could start Dunleavy (make Granger play Rose) and have more offensive experience (Dunleavy) and scoring since George has struggled. This cannot happen because Paul has been the better defensive option and Granger always seemed to be one step behind on the defensive side of the court. Just wished Vogel would be more stringent about everyone playing defense and not sure if that attitude will be enfored on his end. I also see future potential All-Stars in George and maybe even Lance Stephenson, but not sure if there is a coach that can help Lance develop. I see Derrick Rose type offensive potential if he can be harnessed into understaning control within his game. He would need to be pushed into learning how to play Defense but I see he has enough (NY) confidence in playing against anyone. Good luck Pacers and I'm anxious about next year's outcome of where this strong young team will end up but not sure if our young coach will be able to control such volatile talent.
