Young guys stepping up!

(Assuming he plays)

I predict Darren Collison will have a very efficient Game 3 on a noticably hurt ankle. For the 1st time this season, DC's game management skills are overshadowing his blinding speed and quickness. DC is a much better shooter than he gets credit for. His 3 pointer should be on display much more now that he won't be able to simply blow by guys. DC regularly passes up wide open shots to get other guys involved. He'll be forced to shoot the jump shot in Game 3 because his ability to draw defenders will be limited. I expect DC to be very efficient. Between DC, Tyler, and PG, our young guys are playing over their heads. The contributions from Josh, Rush, and Roy are very solid as well. Everyone is playing hard, productive, unselfish, team basketball.

On another note. Did anyone notice Chris Webber's comments about Danny Granger's selfishness. Danny repeatedly refused to pass it to open guys down the stretch and C Webb was quick to call him out on it. This is the wrong time for Danny to try to prove he's the man. he's not. He's at his best when a shot is created for him, not the other way around. He need to play within himself for us to have a chance to win, especially down the stretch. Part of our break down toward the end of Game 1 was Danny's horrible shot selection. And somebody please tell Danny to ease up off of Derrick Rose's jock a little bit. In the last interview he compared D. Rose to a super hero! If Rose is that good and you're supposed to be our best player....WHY DON'T YOU STEP UP AND GUARD HIM INSTEAD OF LEAVING THE RESPONSIBILITY TO A ROOKIE???

With that being said, I like our chances in Games 3 and 4, we should be able to return to Chicago with the series 2-2.
