Mike Dunleavy, TJ Ford and 25 other NBA players who will be playing elsewhere next season Part 6
21.Marquis Daniels
-Since being released by the Pacers, Marquis Daniels has gotten a 2 year deal from the Celtics and was recently traded to the Kings who will likely be releasing him and his 2.38 million dollar salary next season, because G-Marcus Thornton and Luther Head who both average more points per game then Daniels will both be free agents. Now judging by the picture above taken shortly after the world famous 38th street strip club shooting do you really think Bird has any intention what so ever in bringing back Marquise Daniels as a Pacers? Me neither, expect Marquis to be signed next season with an NBA team other then the Pacers or the Kings.
22.DaJuan Summers
-This year the Pistons drafted PF-DaJuan Summers (thought to be a steal by allot of analyst) out of Georgetown in the second round. Now I understand the Pistons are paying Summers practically nothing to play for them, but 3 PPG and pretty much 0 RPG with a PER rating of 3 just isn't good enough for the NBA which is why next season Summers will likely either be moved to the Ft. Wayne Mad Ants the D-league affiliate of the Pacers, Pistons, and Bucks with Purdue grad and starting PG-Chris Kramer for the entire NBA season or some one else will take a chance on him and move him down to their D-league team.
23.Delonte West
-Recently the Celtics have had a habit of signing these old guys past their prime and only keeping them on their team one to a third a season hints the names Marquis Daniels, Stephon Marbury, and Rasheed "Grass Smoker" Wallace who was taunted like crazy at the Fleetcenter when the Celtics played the Pistons in the 2008 Eastern Conference finals the season before he was signed to the Celtics (talk about a team and more importantly their fans being hypocrites). This season was no different with the singings of Nenad Krstic, Ex Pacer-Troy Murphy, and Delonte West. Expect Krstic, Murph, and West along with other Celtics to be released next season so they can sign Glen "Big Baby" Davis to a long term deal with Delonte being the first of all of them to sign with another team. And I also highly doubt Delonte even though he is ranked in the Bleacher Reports top 10 free agents of 2011 gets looked at by the Pacers since last year he was accused os sleeping with Gloria James mother of Miami Heat F-Lebron James, we all know ho much Larry Bird likes stuff like that.
24.Kenyon "K-Mart" Martin
via www.blogcdn.com
-This offseason if there is any NBA team that will be killed in the free agent market, it's going to be the Denver Nuggets with SF-Camrello Anthony (recently traded to the Knicks along with PG-Chauncey Billups), PF-Kenyon Martin, SG-JR Smith, SG-Aaron Afflalo, recently acquired SF- Wilson Chandler in the Mello trade, and if the ETO option is picked up Nene Hilario all set to become free agents in 2011. The Nuggets will likely part ways with everyone mentioned above and try their hardest to ink Nene Hilario and JR Smith who will get allot of strong looks with the Pacers who on paper seem to be in a better position to sign at least one of them to long term deals. And it's going be pretty tough for the Nuggets this offseason to re-sign JR Smith and Nene Hilario with allot of other NBA teams with money to spend like the Pacers looking at them. But of all the people mentioned above, Kenyon Martin who may be getting some looks from the Pacers is most likely to sign with another team the fastest.
25.Caron Butler
-This offseason the Dallas Mavericks are going to have their hands full trying to re-sign C-Tyson Chandler who will get allot of strong looks from the Pacers. Which means they are going to have to part ways with allot of their high priced free agents on the last year of their contracts one on whom just happens to be SF-Caron Butler. Butler since he is ranked in Bleacher Reports top 10 free agent class of 2011 shouldn't have much trouble getting on with another team for a decent amount of money once he is released by the Dallas Mavericks. And don't expect Butler to be a Pacer either he plays the same position as Danny Granger and Paul George.
26.DeShawn Stevenson
-Here's another guy the Mavericks will likely be parting ways with to afford C-Tyson Chandler. Also although Stevenson may get a few looks from the Pacers I highly doubt they singing him he only averages roughly 6 PPG and 2 RPG with A PER of 10.5 plus having 2 Stevenson's on the team could get a little confusing for us Pacers fans.
27.Nazr Mohammed
via s3.amazonaws.com
-Just before the trade deadline this season, the Thunder traded PF-JD White and G-Morris Peterson to the Bobcats for C-Narc Mohammed. This season entering a contract year Mohammed has been averaging 7.3 PPG, 5 RPG wiht a PER of 15.6. But Mohammed also turns 34 in September and has not done well because of his age with the Bobcats in the past. Don't expect the Thunder to waste their money on Mohammed that will likely be another team's job next season. And no that other team will not be the Pacers since Bird turned down a trade offer from the Bobcats of Nazr Mohammed, Sean May, and Raymond Felton for Brandon Rush, Marquis Daniels, and Jeff Foster Rush's rookie season.

Wilson Chandler is not a center (he's a SF), and if the Pacers sign JR Smith my head will explode
"You're hitting the wrong person. Don't you know you're hitting Ron Artest?"

What's wrong with JR Smith?
He averages more points then Jamal Crawford

I'm afraid points per game aren't my favorite metric for evaluating how well a player will work out here
I’ve thought Smith was a headcase since he skipped college after a great MacDonald’s All American game, and while he’s not gone Ron Artest crazy in the league, he hasn’t done much to instill confidence that he can be a functioning member of my favorite team. Statistically, he’s a 42 % career FG shooter, a below-average 3PT shooter and, up until recently, a pretty bad defender. He’s athletic, and he can take it to the hole, so there’s a little bit to like, but if he’s asking for $7-8 million, I’d much rather have Arron Afflalo for a little bit less and see what he develops into.
Oh, and you’re crazy. He averages 11 ppg, Crawford averages 15.

Not a Brewer fan.
Can’t see a reason to be one either.

He's a nice defender...or at least he was in college
He has the tools to be one in the NBA. I wouldn’t sign him, but I could see plenty of other teams being interested. He still has a shot at being a pretty decent pro, imo. I think he’s going to have to beef up a little bit and embrace the Josh Smith SF/PF role on offense, rather than hanging around the perimeter where he’s absolutely worthless.

Well I guess Crawford may be the Pacers best option at SG
I kinda got a bad feeling about this but fthey really aside from the free agent market don’t have much of a choice for bettering their team.

So you have a problem with signing Randolph because you're afraid he'll quit after he gets a big deal
But you’re good with Jamal Crawford? He’s older, probably just as crazy, and only a couple mil cheaper, plus he plays a position where we can’t afford to spend all of our money (that is, if we EVER plan on addressing PF).

Brewer signed with Dallas last week for 3 years.
Not sure why he’s included here. Or many of these other players for that matter.

Yo Pats
Dajuan Summers was’t undrafted, he was a second-round pick by the Pistons. Also, he attended Georgetown not Michigan St.
I think your overall idea of listing 27 possibilities was fun one. It just needed some fact checking. Good luck to you in your future posts!
