As Nathan mentions here, the Indiana Pacers allow us the opportunity to believe in the possibilities of this team only to quickly lower our expectations with one game. The Pacers are at least being consistent...they are consistently throwing in a dud each week to balance out an otherwise fine showing. If they throw out an egg one game the rest of the season, I am ok with it. One bad game and 2 or 3 great games will get you to the playoffs and could cause havoc once there. However, these are my expectations for the rest of the season, and Danny Granger and company have done a great job of adjusting my expectations a number of times throughout the season.
Last night's pounding from DeMarcus Cousins and the Sacramento Kings is in the past. Now the Pacers have their focus on Rodney Stuckey, Tayshaun Prince and the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons have shown they can handle what the Pacers throw at them at times, but the Pacers have also done the same. This should be a good matchup since these two teams usually play each other well.
After the jump, check out the links of the day including the Charlotte Bobcats and Milwaukee Bucks inching to two games behind the Pacers and also check out the possibility of Mike Dunleavy making a return by the end of the season...
