Caja Laboral dropped game-two of the EuroLeague’s quarterfinals series against Maccabi Electra, falling 83-81, at home this Thursday, March the 24th, and the series is now tied at 1-1 as the venue shifts to Tel Aviv.
Indiana Pacers’ Stanko Barac started but logged only 13:10 of playing time. In limited action, Barac scored six points on 1-of-2 shooting from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line, grabbing two boards, committing three personal fouls and drawing two.
Barac struggled against the physically imposing Sofoklis Schortsanitis, who guided Maccabi to victory with 22 points. The fact that his backup, Esteban Batista, was having a productive night (17 points and six rebounds on 26 minutes) didn’t help Barac’s cause either.
The series resumes with game-three next Tuesday, March the 29th, in Tel Aviv.
