This game reminded me of former games against the Jordan Bulls era, or the Patrick Ewing Knicks games. Remember those? Those were the types of games where the other teams could knock down Pacer players thru-out the entire game, and never get called. We'd go back to the other end of the court, and "brush" against their players and get the foul called--time and time again. How can Rose run over Collison, then clearly hit Granger on the arm, and not get called, yet just one play earlier, Collison touches , or brushes Rose and he gets three shots??? Face it Pacer fans, even if the Pacers do luck out and make the playoffs, they'll never, NEVER get any calls in close games.Mark it down now, we will never get out of the first round no matter how we play.
As for tonite's game. A total team effort. Great defense for most of the game. Chicago got it's run late in the game (courtesy of some Ref calls), but overall, Pacers did about all they could. Impressive play by most of the team. I have to admit that Collison still scares me alot when he has the ball. AT times he reminds me so much of Tinsley--you know, just stand around and dribble, dribble, dribble, and then, with time expiring, makes a bad play, or waits too long before making a pass. And Price does the same thing, alot. After a horrible start, tho', he DID settle down and make some good ones, too.
Overall .....WAY TO GO PACERS!!! A WIN AGAINST A VERY TALENTED TEAM.
