The Indiana Pacers have officially had their first three game winning streak of the season! Better late than never, right? Danny Granger, Roy Hibbert and the crew found inspiration from a Rocky movie clip before last night's game, but they are really finding inspiration from Coach Frank Vogel.
These guys are all in the NBA, anyone who makes it to the league knows they can play. However, Vogel is showing a little additional positive reinforcement is never a bad thing. The Pacers have had the opportunity to let each of the last three games slip away, but they have pushed through adversity and actually finished strong in each game....yep, the Indiana Pacers have been finishing strong the last few games. Obviously, the Pacers did not win three straight against the San Antonio Spurs, Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers, but they are winning games that they could have just as easily lost about a month ago.
These past three teams may not have been the elite teams in the NBA, but Wesley Matthews, Nicolas Batum and Rudy Fernandez beat these same Pacers just about a week ago after leading most of the game. The Pacers are building confidence and can only continue to improve with the inspiration of Coach Vogel and any other movie clips he throws there way.
