Hope is Dwindling Fast!

The Pacers were fun to watch last night against Detroit, until they decided somewhere between the 3rd and 4th quarters that they had the game in hand, and started taking those ill-thought of long range jumpers, which allowed Detroit right back into the game. My concern still, with less than 4 hrs. remaining till the deadline, is that the Pacers are standing pat. This isnt' good. I've just come to the conclusion that it 'seems' like no team wants anything we have, other than maybe Granger, and it appears he's going nowhere. Why we arent' trying to better our team puzzles me. Maybe Bird is trying, maybe Bird is asking too much for our players, or not willing to give up enough (not too much, tho) to get a quality player who can come in right now, and really help our team.  Less than 4!!! Hope i'm wrong and we pull the trigger on a trade. Precious little time tells me we won't.
