I am absolutely sick of hearing all these Granger trade proposals that are suggesting that we trade him for younger players or draft picks. Really? just when we are about to make a run at the playoffs lets get rid of Danny Granger. I think way too many Pacer Fans take Danny Granger for granted. Of course Danny has many flaws to his game, but some times the criticisms get out of hand. Danny is not a great defender but he is certainly not as horrendous as some Pacer fans label him out to be. I have always enjoyed watching Danny since the second he don a Pacer's uniform. He works all year round trying to stay in shape or trying to improve his game in some fashion. Of all the drama queens in the nba, I am damn proud that Danny Granger has been a loyal and model citizen for the Pacers. I would understand if there are certain trades that are nearly impossible to ignore then we might have to consider Danny as an asset, but non of those trades involved the Pacers. George is doing great in his development, but does that mean we have to get rid of Danny? NO!!! The role of Danny Granger has always been agreed as a second option, so if george really develops into a star wouldn't Danny Granger be a nice scottie pippen-esque complimentary. Every Pacer fan wants to see the team get better, but pushing your best player out the door for some garbage or some cheap draft picks is absolutely unfair to Danny Granger.
