It looks as though the Carmelo Anthony saga has finally come to a conclusion. He will join the 6th seeded New York Knicks, while the Knicks gave up a ton including Wilson Chandler, Timofey Mozgov, Raymond Felton, Danillo Gallinari and a future first round pick and even Anthony Randolph and Eddy Curry's expiring deal to Minnesota. My first thought was, how many guys will they have to suit up this week?! However, they received a few guys back that will make them dangerous in the east including Chauncey Billups and reportedly Corey Brewer among others. It will be interesting to see how the next couple of days pan out, as there should be a domino affect with trades since most teams were waiting for Anthony deal to finalize.
Enough about Anthony...The Pacers are back in action tonight! They will take on the Washington Wizards while looking to snap their two game skid. Hopefully, Coach Frank Vogel was able to take a little bit of time to install the changes he was looking for on defense or at the very least put the focus back on the defensive end. After the jump, check out the links of the day and let me know what you guys think will be the one key to the Pacers getting back in the playoffs...defense? killer mentality? What do you guys think??
