The Knick's Receive -
The Nuggets get

I didn't include the draft picks, but New York is sending a 2014 first rounder to Denver and that's all I've seen so far for sure. Like I said earlier I thought New York gave up a lot, but when you get Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey its a good thing. Those two an Amare are a solid "big' three to have on any team. The Nuggets can't complain because they could have got nothing if they didn't get this deal off before the deadline. They got a solid young core of players. I'm a huge fan of Chandler, and I think he has a good chance to be an overall elite player. Also Lawson and Felton could be a nice PG combo. Stll not too sure why Minnesota got involved. I had heard originally they were giving up a 1st round pick, and I'm assuming they still will. If they did I still don't get their logic. Curry has all the "potential" in the world, but why risk it when your going to more than likely have a top ten pick this year?
The good news is now the "Melo" drama is over and IF the Pacers are going to make a deal it can happen now. I'm still not sure if I want us to even make a deal. We're not winning it all this year so why not see what McBob and Hansbrough can do. Tyler just started getting minutes and is finally adjusting to the NBA game. And McRoberts is a great player to have on the floor. He's still young, he's one of those guys I hope the Pacers hang on to just because of how versatile he is. Hopefully Foster's ankle is okay and we don't have to worry about a backup for Roy until the end of the year. The one position we could upgrade at is SF. Maybe Kevin Martin, but I don't know if they're shopping him he's having a nice year. All 'n all I'm satisfied with where our team is heading, lets not ruin it by taking on salaries that cripple us for years to come.
