Heat to sign Shane Battier

We can let that thought go. It confuses me about whom the Heat choose to sign. I don't see how another wing player would be high on their list. I guess they need someone to spell Lebron during this crazy condensed schedule, but still. Wouldn't a big or point guard be a better fit there?

Another factor may be that when you're paying three players max contracts, you probably just take what you can get. It really takes a player who's willing to take less money to win and in todays NBA that is becoming a rare thing.
