The Indiana Pacers plan to announce their full schedule, including preseason games, along with the rest of the league on Tuesday.
But the league's full preseason schedule is now showing up on NBA.com, and it reveals that the Pacers and Chicago Bulls will pick up where they left off in the playoffs with a home-and-home pair of tune up games for the regular season.
- Bulls @ Pacers - Friday, December 16th, 7:00 p.m. ET
- Pacers @ Bulls - Tuesday, December 20th, 8:00 p.m. ET
The first game at Conseco Fieldhouse will come one week after the teams' abbreviated training camps open up on December 9th. With so much yet to be determined with the Pacers roster, it's hard to think that not only will all of those issues be resolved in less than two weeks, but the blue and gold will actually be playing a game.
I realize the intensity of these games won't be in the same zip code as the last game at the Fieldhouse, but now I really hope Jeff Foster returns to the Pacers just so he can return to his rightful place, tucked snugly under the skin of Bulls' fans.
