"Phoenix is the worst team in the West. Time to start the "Steve Nash to Indiana for Darren Collison and a future protected #1" bandwagon." - "The Sports Guy" Bill Simmons

It appears Simmons has firmly jumped on our bandwagon (earlier in the night claiming we could get the #2 seed). And while I'm not stoked about him being on said bandwagon (JAAAAAAAASH FREEMAN anyone?), I gotta admit this trade idea made me j in my pants.

This is troubling. On one hand he is 37 years old, but on the other hand he is Great. Damn he would make us really good short term… GETITDONELARRY!!

I'd have to pass.

Nash is on the downside of his career. No way we give up Collison AND a future 1st in what will be a loaded draft.

If we can improve our offense, we are looking like a playoff team. At that point, there won’t be that good a player in the draft, so I’d be fine with trading it.

I think Collison alone could get it done, maybe include Pends once he’s healthy. They’d also be getting cap relief and a young player. We get an expensive, but great point guard. I think our D would be good enough to cover for his poor D.

I’d honestly hold out for something else though. We need a scorer and a back up big (can’t rely of Foster/Pends). I’d feel better about our scoring if Lance could get more minutes and PG continues to step it up (also, if Granger and West starting hitting shots). So, I feel like I’m talking myself out of this team needing a scorer, but so many “ifs”.

And it's now my sig

no way would i want this trade if it involves us giving up a draft pick

for collison straight up, fine. as great of a player he is, the guy is 37. we’d be getting him for maybe 1 or 2 years, with him most likely gone by the time our young guys really start coming around.

Harper's on Miller, McKey, gets in to Miller for the win and...
