Wouldn't hate it
But I’m not sure if I like Budinger enough to bring him in. Although, he would be a younger better backup to Danny, so I would be ok with it. I do like Courtney Lee, and I was a fan of trying to pick him up when he was in Orlando. Side note, why is it that nobody makes a big deal that the Lakers have 6 white guys on their roster, and yet everyone called Bird a racist when it happened in Indy? Makes me laugh. What makes it even funnier, is that 2 of the 6 are former Pacers! Must be because they are Lakers I guess. Anyone else have thoughts?
I think it would be a good trade .. it would make us better but not a whole lot better … I think we are all discussing small moves to help improve the Pacers, when what we truly need is a scoring/go to guy … preferably an all-star or borderline all star SG … I like your trade though … Pacers would lead the league in white guys again :D

No they wouldn't
As it stands, the Pacers have 3 white ball players. Adding Chase would give us 4. LA has 6.

we would have to be confident in stephenson running point. I believe Hill is more comfortable at the 2. I don’t think the rockets do it though.

They do like him a lot. I guess Patterson and Chase are getting a lot of love. I wouldn’t mind having those guys at all the more I think about it, but if we can convince Dahntay to NOT score and only play defense, then I say we should keep him, at least until the deadline. Maybe package an unmentionable name (respecting the rule) and Jones for another scorer at the 2.

But I don’t understand why Houston would do this trade. Budinger was a proven scorer last year and lee is probably as good of, if not better of a defender than jones. Makes no sense for them.
