Shooting guard Mickael Pietrus was waived by the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.

If he makes it through waivers unclaimed, Pietrus will be free to sign with any team.

A source with knowledge of Pietrus’ situation told ESPNNewYork.com that four teams had shown interest in Pietrus as of Monday night but the Knicks were not one of them.
