Last chance to brush off issues with a simple, "Oh, well. It's just preseason."
The Indiana Pacers return to the scene of their final game last season when they take on the Chicago Bulls at the United Center. Surely won't be any surprises between these two teams which means the Pacers will have to best the Bulls in effort and execution to grasp on at a shot for the win.
Of course, that whole preseason thing makes winning meaningless since there will likely be some meaningless playing rotations mixed in among the 48 minutes. But this is the last dress rehearsal before we start counting W's and L's, so the Pacers will probably go with what they know for the bulk of the game.
The Bulls will have a new wrinkle on display with newly acquired shooting guard Richard Hamilton expected to start. Ronnie Brewer seemed to hold things down pretty well last Friday, but Rip seems like a natural to curl in behind a Derrick Rose dribble drive, ready to knock down a kick-out if Rose's path is blocked.
